(Sanford, FL)  --  Accused killer George Zimmerman is waiving his right to a "Stand Your Ground" hearing that could have prevented him from going on trial for murder.  Under Florida law, a judge can dismiss a murder charge before a trial starts if a defendant can prove they acted in self-defense.  The judge asked Zimmerman if he was aware of his rights and the decision not to have the hearing and he said he was.  Zimmerman will go on trial in June for last year's shooting death of Trayvon Martin.
