Four baboons living at a Texas research facility made a break for it on Saturday.
The primates weren’t out long and are back at the medical research facility after the brief escape. The Texas Biomedical Research Institute says three baboons were rounded up within 20 minutes, while the fourth returned to the enclosure on its own. The institute conducts research on infectious and chronic diseases.
It reportedly has more than a thousand baboons on site as research animals.
