Fantasy Flight Takes Critically Ill Kids To Meet Santa At North Pole

Christmas came early for some deserving children who are part of the Children's Hospice international network. Over 100 kids got to fly from Washington-Dulles airport to meet Santa on United Airlines’ Fantasy Flights.

This was the 30th anniversary of the program, which treats critically ill children and their families to a flight on “Snowflake 1” to Santa’s workshop. The kids are treated to holiday fun, treats, face-painting, and of course, lots of presents.

United Airlines does several Fantasy Flights out of its hubs during the holidays, giving the families a day where they can enjoy being together and the magic of the holidays and leave all the rest behind for a bit.
