New Bill Could Provide Vets with PTSD a Service Dog At No Cost

We know that dogs provide companionship, comfort and can reduce stress and anxiety.A lot of dogs are trained to be a service dog to veterans that suffer from PTSD and it helps the vets so much. However, these service dogs are very, very expensive. There is a new bill that Congress is once again revisting it’s the Puppies Assisting Wounded Servicemen Act, otherwise known as PAWS.If this law is passed, it would require the Veterans Administration to provide $25,000 vouchers to men and women suffering from PTSD to pay for a service dog for the veteran. So, we encourage you to contact your congress representative to encourage them to pass this bill called PAWS.
