Accidents are going to happen, but it’s what you do afterwards that counts. Owen Sullivan gets this and the teen has been praised online recently for the way he handled hitting a woman’s mailbox on a snow-covered road.
Instead of driving away before he got caught, Sullivan wrote a note to the mailbox owner, Crystal Collins, and collected all the money he had to give it to her. She was so impressed, she told him to keep the money. And then three days later, he showed back up with freshly baked cookies he made for damaging her property. She shared the story in a Facebook post and tracked down Sullivan’s parents to tell them how proud they should be of their son.
