Janet Jackson is back with a new album and tour. The singer just announced that her next record, “Black Diamond,” will drop later this year, and she’ll hit the road on the “2020 Black Diamond World Tour” starting this summer.
“Black Diamonds are the toughest of all the diamonds, the hardest to cut. I see that as the hardest to hurt or destroy,” Janet shares. “There is a lot that I have endured. I see myself as a Black Diamond in its purest form. I’m a rock, I have ruff edges but I keep moving forward. I want to show you my strength as well as give you strength.”
The trek, which will also feature a special performance to celebrate the 30th anniversary of her multi-platinum album “Rhythm Nation 1814,” will kick off June 24th in Miami, Florida, with dates confirmed through August 24th in Tacoma, Washington.
