John Krasinski & David Ortiz Treat Healthcare Workers With Red Sox Tickets

John Krasinski found an incredible way to thank a group of healthcare professionals from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. He had some members of the hospital’s COVID-19 unit on his new YouTube show “Some Good News,” and surprised them with a virtual visit by Red Sox legendDavid Ortiz.

Not only was the baseball player known as “Big Papi” on the show to thank them for their efforts, he had some very exciting news for these baseball fans. Ortiz informed them that the Red Sox organization is giving the hospital staff four tickets to their games for life!

But that wasn’t all! Krasinski had the group go outside and get on “the most sanitized duck boat in America” that took them to Fenway Park. There they watched videos of the mayor of Boston and the governor of Massachusetts on the jumbotron, along with the entire Red Sox team applauding and thanking them. And then they all threw out the first ceremonial pitch of the season together and said “Boston Strong.” Check out the story by clicking "Big Papi" below ↓
