Southwest Airlines Attendant Escorts Rescue Pup To New Home

A puppy left on the side of a Texas road is helping to spread kindness across two-thousand miles.

He was found in a box in triple digit heat. A shelter took him, posted photos and a family in North Carolina responded. But then came the dilemma of how to get the little guy to his new home.

Marcel Stratton, a Southwest flight attendant in Las Vegas, heard the story and volunteered to spend her days off flying with the puppy. A co-worker bought her ticket, a Wyndham hotel comped her room, even the pilots helped out by walking him.

Three plane changes and lots of new friends later, little Harris finally met his family.
