Artist impersonation for monetary gain and criminal activity isn't new, but it is MUCH worse with the invent of social media. Never trust a tweet that is too good to be true.
I remember Paul Stanley of KISS liked a tweet that I posted a while back. I was a bit geeked out about it! How cool, right? Until I looked at the account it came from. They got an insta block!
