(WOWT) Four Nebraska football players were victims of a burglary on Sunday morning.
The incident occurred just before 3 a.m., when one of the victims arrived at his residence in the 5400 Block of N 11th Street, police said.
He saw two women exiting the residence through the garage, and he proceeded to walk inside.
There, he found two men attempting to steal a television, according to authorities.
The victim confronted the men, and they fled the house. After exploring the residence, he found two other men, who also fled after being located.
The six suspects left in three different vehicles, and the males were described as in their early 20’s, police said.
The victim’s three roommates arrived home shortly after, and discovered that a laptop, a gaming system, and a collection of men’s watches had been stolen.
Total loss is estimated at $3,150.
Police believe entrance to the home was made through an unlocked door.
