The Metropolitan Entertainment & Convention Authority (MECA) reminded fans today about the parking options available for the 2017 NCAA® Men’s College World Series® (CWS®).

MECA encourages fans to come early and plan ahead to take advantage of parking options available near and within a short distance of TD Ameritrade Park Omaha.

Fans can park in the garage attached to the CenturyLink Center for $12 per vehicle. The garage and MECA parking Lot A are often underutilized for the series. Parking will be $10 in Lot A. Parking Lots B and D are pass-only lots during the CWS with the exception of Opening Celebration Day on June 16th. Cash and credit card (preferred method) payments are accepted.

MECA-managed parking lots open at 8 a.m. on game days and close 90 minutes after the last game. Overnight parking is not permitted. Oversized vehicles, RV’s, box trucks, and buses are strictly prohibited.

Several other parking alternatives are also available during the CWS. Metro operates the Stadium Circulator. A ride on the Circulator is only 25 cents and buses will run from two hours before the first game until two hours after the last game of each day. For Opening Celebration Day, the circulator will operate from 9:30 A.M. until 30 minutes after the conclusion of the fireworks display. Updated information on routes and times are posted on www.ometro.com.

Creighton University offers parking within walking distance of TD Ameritrade Park from Cuming to Cass Streets between 15th and 20th streets. These lots are monitored and a fee is charged.

Event parking – operated by City of Omaha Parking Division – is available in centrally located garages and lots in and around downtown Omaha. Rates (per car) are $5 and $10 per day, as posted. Parking is a pre-pay option via cash or credit card (Visa, Discover, MasterCard). For more information or to find garages and lot options, go to ParkOmaha.com
