(WOWT) - We heat back into the lower 90s today with a humid afternoon ahead. A south wind will be gusting between 30-40 mph. A cold front moves in late tonight bringing a line of strong to severe thunderstorms. Large hail, damaging winds, and isolated tornadoes will be possible.
Storms initially fire up west of Norfolk and Columbus then slowly work east through the night. Storms will form into a line bringing the threat of strong, damaging winds. This will move into the metro shortly after midnight.
Temperatures stay very warm the next several days with highs in the upper 80s to low 90s into Friday. Storm chances are possible Thursday and Friday afternoon.
