New Season Ticket Selection Process For CWS

College World Series Fans can apply for season tickets in 2018 under a new selection process. CWS officials announced Tuesday that fans who apply online by midnight on March 1 will be eligible for a random drawing to buy up to four season tickets to the annual baseball championships at TD Ameritrade Park.

People can apply at NCAA.com/CWSTickets and CWSomaha.com. The number of tickets available is yet to be determined and will be based on existing season-ticket holder renewals.  That process runs through February 1.

The names drawn for season tickets will receive email notice by March 6. Costs range from $425 to $493, with the seats renewable every year.  Most of the tickets for new applicants will be in the 300 level.

"Based on feedback from season ticket holders and fans, we thought this would be a great way to engage the broadening fan interest in the CWS and provide a fair way for baseball fans across the country to access tickets,” says CWS Inc. ticket Chairman Herb Hames.

The new process replaces the waiting list, which ended last year after all waiting list members were given the option to purchase tickets for the 2017 CWS.
