Nearly 60,000 Spring Game Tickets Sold In One Day

Tickets to Nebraska's annual Red-White Spring Game went on sale to season ticket holders on Tuesday. By the end of the day nearly 60,000 had been sold according to university officials.

At least 10,000 will be held back for general public when they go on sale Wednesday morning.  The cost is $10.

Demand is growing for Scott Frost's first spring game as the head coach.  The attendance record for a Nebraska spring game is 80,149, set in 2008, which was Bo Pelini's first year.

The Spring Game will kick off at 11 a.m. on April 21.
