UPDATE: Frost Releases Statement After Home Break-In

Huskers Head Coach Scott Frost released a statement regarding the robbery of his Lincoln home.

“The incident that occurred at our home is obviously very disappointing and discouraging. All of our belongings were gone through and it will take some time to determine exactly what is missing and the value of those items," Frost said.

“I would like to clarify that some items initially reported as missing have been found, including some of the rings listed on the police report. Also, the value of what we believe to actually be missing is lower than what has been publicly reported," he added.

It was originally reported that $165,000 in items were taken, including 14 championship rings.  The break-in happened sometime between Friday at 5:30 p.m. and Sunday evening at 6 p.m.   No one was home at the time as the home is under renovation.  Lincoln police say the suspects walked in through an unlocked door in the garage.

The investigation continues.  Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call Lincoln Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
