OH YAH! Shari Stone is Reliving Her Childhood!

Shari Stone here!  This morning I was jammin' out to The Bee Gee's song "You Should Be Dancing" and it got me thinking of my childhood.

BEE GEES MICROPHONE! YES!

I had the BEST childhood!  My parents gave me a Bee Gees microphone when I was 9 or 10 years old.  I would spend endless nights in front of the stereo singing and talking on the radio.  Hey...maybe my parents set me up to become a radio announcer when I was just 9 or 10 years old!  WOW!

I also remember when I was in 3rd grade I had made it to the Talent Show at Cottonwood Elementary here in Omaha.  I was SO excited!  I paired up with my best friend, Jenny Miller and we did a lip sync to the song "No More Tears" by Donna Summer & Barbara Streisand.  I, of course, was Donna Summer cause she was so rad!  If you don't know the song, that's so sad, but you can check out the tune here.

Unfortunately, I didn't get to participate in the talent show due to a breakout with chicken pox, but my awesome teacher, Mrs. Jerve allowed me and Jenny to do our lip sync for our class!  I brought out my BEE GEES microphone and TORE.IT.UP!  I so wish I had a video to show you or a picture, but sadly, I don't.  Trust me.  It was awesome!

The other night, Montez caught the movie Saturday Night Fever featuring John Travolta.  One of his favorite scenes was that of a starstruck Doreen (Denny Dillon) wiping the brow of Tony Manero (John Travolta) talking about how she loves to watch Danny dance.  Have to agree...one of the best scenes.
