Mathis is a four-year-old boy who has a rare genetic disorder called Coffin-Lowery Syndrome…it’s a disorder that is characterized by craniofacial and skeletal abnormalities, and delayed intellectual development and his therapy dog, Macks, helps him.But the French bulldog/Beagle mix ran away in May and the family has been searching for him since. The family posted flyers and even offered a $1,000 reward and didn’t help for months.Until they got that call. After three long months, someone finally returned the dog and he’s back at home with his boy. They said it doesn’t matter what motivated the person to bring Macks back, but Mathis couldn’t be happier.
