An elementary school student in Spokane, Washington wanted to find a way to help her fellow students who were behind on their school lunch payments. Lilly Cowart, a sixth grader, talked to her dad about how they could help pay down the balances owed by local families, but when he found out how much was owed, dad was discouraged.
