Foundation Has Taken Over 1,750 Kids Of Fallen Soldiers To Disney World

Gary Sinise is well-known for playing Lieutenant Dan in “Forrest Gump” but these days the actor is appreciated for his philanthropic work too. He works to honor and help U.S. military veterans and established the Gary Sinise Foundation, which supports vets, first responders, their families, and communities.One of their programs, the “Snowball Express,” focuses on kids. It launched in 2017 and has taken more than 1,750 children of fallen soldiers on free five-night trips to Disney World with their surviving parents.
