Teen Gamer Having Seizure Saved By Online Friend 5,000 Miles Away

Not all gaming is bad for teens. A British teen was playing an online game with a friend in the U.S. when he had a seizure and she sent for help from 5,000 miles away. Aidan Jackson, 17, was talking with 20-year-old Dia Lathora from Texas when it happened and she called emergency services and had an ambulance sent to his home.

The teen’s parents were downstairs and had no idea anything was wrong with their son until the police and paramedics showed up at their door saying they had a call from America. Caroline and Steve Jackson say they rushed upstairs and found Aidan “extremely disoriented.”

They say he’s doing well now and they’re “extremely grateful for what Dia did.” To read more about this story click the gamers below ↓
