Win A Valentine’s Stay At Juliet’s Home In Italy From Airbnb

All you “Romeo and Juliet” fans out there are going to love this. Airbnb is running a couples can enter to spend the night at ‘Juliet’s house’ in Verona, Italy on Valentine’s Day. She wasn’t a real person, just a character in Shapespeare’s play about the star-crossed lovers, but the historichome, Casa di Giulietta, looks exactly like the description of her home in that famous balcony scene.

Romantics treat the home as a love story icon and it now operates as a museum and hasn’t had an overnight guest since the 1930s, until now. The contest is now up and running and couples have until 11:59pm EST on Sunday, February 2nd to enter, which they do by writing a letter to Juliet, AKA Juliet’s Club. It turns out, writing letters to Juliet is a thing and Juliet’s Club maintains the letters fans send in.

No one may have stayed here in close to a century, but Airbnb has made it ready for guests by partnering with an Italian architect to transform it into a modern-day romance movie. The lucky winners will enjoy a one-night stay in Juliet’s room, a candlelit dinner prepared by Michelin star chef Giancarlo Perbellin, and even sleep in the original bed used in the 1960 movie version of “Romeo and Juliet” And did we mention there’s a personal butler, too?
