Jon Bon Jovi Opens Restaurant for Food Insecure College Students

Rutgers University has joined a popular rock star to open a restaurant that will target thousands of college students who face food insecurity.Rutgers is teaming up with rocker Jon Bon Jovi and his wife Dorthea, where the students can get a fresh, 3 course meal for free.More than 50% of the 13,000 undergrad and grad students have financial need.They Jon Bon Jovi and his wife started JBJ Soul Kitchen about a decade ago where there are no prices on the menu people pay for what you think the cost of the meal should be.So, this is very near and dear to Jon and his wife’s heart to do something like this for the students at Rutgers.
