Animal Sanctuary Is Looking For “Piggy Cuddlers”

Always wish you could get cozy with a pig? Now’s your chance! The Cotton Branch Farm Animal Sanctuary in South Carolina is looking for “piggy cuddlers” to help socialize 100 rescue pigs so they can find forever homes.

According to a Facebook post, all the human snugglers have to do to help get the porkers get ready for their new homes is give “belly scratches, cookies, and even just talk to them.” And it won’t take long to get them ready. Evan Costner, Cotton Sanctuary executive director, says if people spend about an hour at a time for three weeks with the pigs, within a month, “they’ll be rolling over for belly rubs” and will be ready to be adopted.
