A young Girl Scout from West Virginia used the power of the Internet and social media to reach her cookie selling goal. Rory Clark wanted to sell Girl Scout cookies to customers in all 50 states and she used a website and social media to make it happen. The seven-year-old Daisy Girl Scout used a map to keep track of her sales, coloring in each state as she sold cookies there. She says she was inspired by a school project where students exchanged postcards with other kids in all 50 states.
“You should always set a goal to see if you can actually do it,” Rory explains. “To hit that goal, I think it was really cool and I was so excited to get the whole map. It really made my day.”
