Therapy Dogs Are Seen at Bergan Mercy to Help Patients Feel Better

Volunteers brought in 10 therapy dogs a few weeks ago to Bergan Mercy Hospital to brighten up everyone's day! All the patients lit up as they saw the dogs in the hospital lobby. Research states that pets can reduce blood pressure, anxiousness and even help you live longer. It releases Oxycontin which helps us feel better and look at situations more positively!

Bergan Mercy and other hospitals in the area bring in therapy pets all the time. The next time you go to the hospital make sure you look for these furry friends!
