Vet Travels To California Treating Homeless People’s Pets For Free

A compassionate veterinarian has been treating homeless people’s pets across California for the last nine years.Dr. Kwane Stewart started by setting up a table at a soup kitchen near Modesto in 2011, offering to treat and vaccinate pets of the homeless there.

Since then, he started hitting the streets to offer to treat pets of homeless people, and he’s helped more than 400 animals so far. Stewart started a GoFundMeto cover costs for his mission and has raised $35-thousand to pay for animal treatments. He was also named the GoFundMe Hero of February.
