Restaurant Starts “Giving Board” For Customers In Need

A restaurant that’s been in Clarkesville, Georgia for 55 years is known for its biscuits, but it’s getting noticed for its kindness. Stoney’s Family Restaurant recently put up a “giving board” that lets people pay for part of a meal for someone else in need.

So when someone places an order, they can buy someone else something, like a Coke or a biscuit. And when someone is hungry and can’t pay for a meal, they can come in to Stoney’s and take down a slip left up on the giving board and get something to eat for free.
