Missouri Zoo is Asking Kids to Write Letters to the Animals

A zoo in Springfield, Missouri is asking kids to write letters to their animals during the COVID-19 epidemic.

Dickerson Park Zoo has temporarily closed during the COVID-19 outbreak and they are encouraging kids, as well as kids at heart to write letters to its animals. The zoo spokesperson is encouraging everyone to write down questions or share something fun with the animals at the zoo or even share what is on their minds. The zoo workers will then record themselves reading those letters to the animals to help kids still be able to be in touch with the animals at the zoo.

Letters should be e-mailed to the zoo spokesperson at JPowell@DickersonParkZoo.org.
