Some good news on the endangered animal front in our world today. There were two adorable clouded leopard cubs born at the zoo in Miami. They determined one was a female and the other a male. The clouded leopard is a "highly endangered" and it was great news to hear about the 2nd successful litter for both parents. They were born on February 11th and they are the most adorable cubs. And, 4 cheetah cubs were born at The Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute in Virginia. Cheetah mom, Echo gave birth to the 4 cubs. Cheetahs are considered a vulnerable population. There are only 7,500 - 10,000 cheetahs left in the wild. So, to have 4 healthy new cubs it only helps to build a sustainable population of the cats.
