Bennington Public Library Creates Outdoor Story Walk for Families

If you drive through Bennington by the soccer fields off of Bennington Road, you'll see a story walk that was put on by the Bennington Public Library. This is a place where families can walk along a path, together and stop at one of the 16 stations to read actual pages from the book "Simpson's Sheep Won't Go To Sleep" by local author Bruce Arant. Originally the library was planning on doing scanned and laminated copies then company Design 4, Inc volunteered to get involved.

The owner, Nic Chestnut printed the scanned pages on real-estate sized signs. He even provided the library with the metal footing. The books just went up on April 21st and they hope that the pages will last awhile. So, if you're looking for something fun to do with the whole family along with observing social distancing, head to Bennington off Bennington Road to read this amazing book!
