The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are updating their guidelines on how to keep your pet safe from COVID-19. Several new cases of animals contracting the virus have been confirmed.
The CDC admits that they are still learning about this virus, but they do believe that it can be spread from people to animals in some situations. They also want us to know that the risk of animals spreading it to humans is very low, but more still needs to be discovered about the virus.
It the meantime, they recommend that pet owners take extra precautions similar to what they take with humans. Do not let pets interact with other animals or people outside the household and if you are a cat owner, you should keep the cats indoors. To read more, click the woman with the dog below ↓
