Missing the good old days when you could go to brunch with friends any weekend you wanted? Some people are trying to recreate the experience at home during lockdown and now there’s a contest that’ll pay the winner to host not one,but three virtual brunches.
Tech comparison siteWhistleOut.comwill give $1k to the winner, along with a $300 Grubhub gift card to cover the cost of the three brunches. All three will be hosted on different video call apps and the winner will share how it went on the different formats. To enter the competition, fill out the application formwith 200 words about why you and your friends would be the ideal virtual brunchers. You have until 11:59pm PT on May 15thto enter(that’s this Friday).
You can’t get together for a boozy brunch with your besties in person, but doing it online may be the next best thing. And getting paid to do it? Even better. “With this brunch dream job, we hope to not only provide the person who lands it with a bit of relaxation and connection,” explains Maddie at WhistleOut.com, “but also find the best new ways to virtually connect with friends.”
