A woman in Missouri has been reunited with old family photos thanks to a man who lives in New York City. Adam Scally bought a box at an auction 20 years ago and it had a family photo album inside. Back then, there was no social media to help him find the family in the pictures, but he held onto them because he knew they were important to someone.
Adam recently came across the album while cleaning up and turned to Facebook to track down the people in the photos. He posted some to a group called “Local Kansas City History Buffs” and within an hour, someone identified Sella Minker as a girl in the pictures and connected her with Adam.
He’s happy to have been able to give the family back a piece of their history and Sella is extremely grateful for the precious memories. To read more, click the box of pictures below ↓
