Therapy Dog Named "Moose" Receives Honorary Doctorate from Virginia Tech

An 8 year old Labrador retriever was part of the Virginia Tech’s College of Veterinary Medicine this spring.Moose was part of their online commencement ceremony.Moose has worked as one of the school’s 4 therapy animals for mental health awareness and he received an honorary doctorate in veterinary medicine.His owner, Trent Davis said, “The students here talk about how Moose has broken down the stigma around mental health care on campus.He has really helped the students and staff at Virginia Tech and has gotten a lot of recognition for that.” To see more on this story and what Moose looks like, click the pup below ↓
