There’s a new study out there that finds dogs go through moody “Teenage” stage when they hit puberty. The study looked at dogs at 5 months old and then again at 8 months old and found that in adolescences, the pups took somewhat longer to respond to the “sit” command. They found that animals that are going through puberty are harder to train. They found that this disobedience happens towards their owners and not to other people.Just like teenagers are to their parents and other people. The study said it only lasted throughout puberty and once they grew out of it they were obedient again. So, if you’re struggling with obedience training, may be that the dog is going through puberty
