Have we gone too far with Covid-19 actions?

When I saw the headline, I thought this must be satire, or at least Odd News. I was quite skeptical. This man wants his execution delayed because of Covid-19.

Sounds a bit strange, right? You're convicted of murder 20 years ago, your execution is eminent, but now you want it delayed because you may catch a virus that could maybe kill you if you have underlying conditions. What?

THEN, I read his story. Guilty? Yes, by admission. OF ROBBERY. However, IF there is evidence of his innocence of murder, maybe a life sentence is more appropriate?
