A pair of students at Centennial High School in Texas have started a campaign to spread kindness to students in need. Prisha Mehta and Manogna Jonnalagadda came up with the idea for Project Kind Packs, which gathers school supplies, books, classroom essentials, hygiene products, and letters of encouragement for teachers and kids in elementary schools in Dallas.
Manogna says they hope their Kind Packs bring encouragement and motivation to these classrooms to help young students “fulfill their full potential this coming school year and confidently transition back into a normal learning environment.”
The teens are hoping to raise $3-thousand to put their Kind Packs in the hands of 300 students and 20 teachers. So far, their Facebook fundraiserhas brought in $12-hundred.
