A young boy saved his little sister from a vicious dog attack and while doing that, he took the brunt end of the attack. Well, Bridger Walker is getting lots of attention for protecting her and ending up with 90 stitches himself. And one star who’s reaching out to the pint-sized hero is Captain America himself, actor Chris Evans.
The celeb saw the story and sent a video message to Bridger to tell him how impressed he is with his actions. “Pal, you’re a hero, what you did was so brave, so selfless — your sister is so lucky to have you as a big brother. Your parents must be so proud of you," Evans told him. "Keep being the man you are, we need people like you. Hang in there, I know recovery might be tough, but based on what I've seen, I don't think there's much that can slow you down."
And the best part? The Marvel actor told the kid to be on the lookout because he’s sending him an authentic “Captain America” shield, from one hero to another.
