Still trying to come up with what to be for Halloween this year? If you’re looking for something scary, you’re in luck because someone created a “Karen” Halloween mask and it’s enough to give anyone a fright. Los Angeles artist Jason Adcock designed and makes this full-head latex mask that comes with the ideal short, blonde bob hairstyle and angry eyes. All you’ll need to complete the look is some “misplaced outrage” and your cell phone in hand, ready to report someone for something.
The Karen mask is being sold on Etsy, where Adcock calls it “the scariest thing you can be on Halloween.” And he’s not kidding about the scary part. This mask includes red eyes, gnashed teeth and a mouth partially open, probably ready to scream at someone innocently sitting on their front porch reading a book. There are “vision slits” above the eyes and vents in the mask’s mouth, nose and ears, so Karen will still be able to hear and see ALL the things that make her blood boil.
“2020 is the year of the KAREN,” Adcock writes on Etsy. “Scare all ur friends with ur big hair and narrow mind.” But be prepared, being Karen comes at a cost. This mask sells for $180, but with all there is to be upset about this year, it probably won’t be hard to get into character.
