A Veterinarian Reveals Toys & Treats You Should Avoid Giving Your Dog

We love our pets so much and all we want is what is best for them We get them their favorite treats and maybe a toy or two. Sometimes that's not a good idea because a lot of popular dog products are not save for our fur babies as we thought.

Dr. Hunter Finn is a veterinarian in Texas and he has taken to social media on toys and treats we should avoid giving to them. First up is the double-layered knots on the end rawhide chew toys. They can become choking hazards and cause your pup to need surgery if it's lodged in their system. Instead, buy them dog treats with a VOHC (Veterinary Oral Health Council)-approved logo on it.

He even goes as far as saying not o purchase your dog pig ears, hooves, antlers, and even cautions giving jerky treats!

What's great is that Dr. Finn has his own TikTok channel to help us navigate what treats we SHOULD be buying our pets. To check out Dr. Finn's TikTock, CLICK HERE. And he's not too bad on the eyes, if you know what Shari Stone means. :)

He does say that bully sticks are fine in moderation and under supervision.
