Second Grader Donates Trucks Full Of Supplies To Reservation

Cavanaugh Bell is only seven, but he’s already working to change the world for the better. The second-grader from Maryland has already started his own nonprofit, Cool and Dope, to combat bullying and spread positivity, and he’s been collecting supplies to send to Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota, which is considered one of the poorest places in the U.S.

He reached out to his community to ask for donations for essential supplies the reservation needed and people started giving through his Amazon wishlist, a GoFundMe page and in-person to his pantry. This summer, he helped load up a moving truck filled with everything from hygiene products to diapers to nonperishable food and that was already delivered this summer.

Well, he decided to do it again and just sent another 53-foot truck full of donations of winter supplies to South Dakota. By purchasing from his wishlist, you'll be helping them to #FillTheTrailer and take critical items to the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota through Winter 2020.
