Poll: Pet Owners Are Voting With Their Fur Babies In Mind- It looks like some voters are thinking about their furry friends as they cast a ballot this election.
A new survey finds 65-percent of pet owners are making decisions based on how issues, like climate change, will affect their pet's future. Banfield Pet Hospital also found out how many will spend election night.
More than half would rather spend it with their pets than a significant other. And 70-percent would rather watch dog or cat videos over election news.
Banfield explains the results this way: "The human-animal bond now, more than ever, plays an integral role in people’s lives.” Does that mean pet issues will soon be what candidates campaign about?
