Chewy Sets Up Virtual Health Visits For Pets

Pet parents are getting the chance to have a virtual vet visit for their dog or cat.

Chewy just launched a new telehealth service in 35 states. The company has been testing it in Florida and Massachusetts since May, but said the pandemic led to more demand.

Veterinarians will only offer advice, but the catch is they can't make a diagnosis or prescribe medication. The vets can also refer you to an emergency clinic if needed.

The “Connect With A Vet” service is free for customers who get automatic shipments of food or other pet products. Vets are on call weekdays on Chewy.com from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. To find out more, click on the vet and cat image below ↓
