The Vazquez family thought they’d never see their precious pet again after he was stolen from their San Antonio, Texas, back yard in 2014. But after six long years, King the Chihuahua has been found and reunited with his owners.
Debi Vazquez says she reported King missing, put the word out on social media and hung pictures everywhere she could, but he was never found. That all changed recently when she heard from the Humane Society of Broward County where King was turned in. Somehow he made his way to South Florida and thankfully, he was microchipped so they knew who he belongs to and reached out with the good news.
The family drove 19 hours to be reunited with their beloved 15-year-old dog. Debi says they’re “so happy to have him back in our family where he belongs.”
