I scanned a QR code and immediately got my checking account hacked! They only charged $1 because that's how they figure out if you are paying attention. If I had not received a text from my bank and called them RIGHT AWAY, the scammers would have moved forward with taking... all of it!

!. DON'T use QR Codes. 2. Use the number on the back of your card to call the bank yourself. Don't respond to a text.
