There is no better time to enjoy a hearty bowl of hot soup than in the fall.
Let's set the scene.
You look out the window, slightly glazed with rain from hours prior, only to notice that there's more leaves on the ground than in the trees and your lawn is topped with various hues of orange, yellow, and red. It's dark outside and you haven't eaten dinner yet as you notice the wind whistle through the streets and wrap around each house, covering the neighborhood in an invisible frigid gloss. You get a shiver from your surroundings so you decide to curl up on the couch in a cozy blanket and turn your favorite TV show on. But wait. Something's missing! And we think we know what it is.

According to a list compiled by Yelp, the best soup in all of Nebraska can be ordered at Dragon Wok in Omaha. Yelp recommended trying the Hot and Sour soup.
Here's what Yelp had to say about sourcing the data to discover the absolute best place to order a bowl of soup in each state:
"This is an all-time list of the top spots for soup in each state according to Yelp. We identified businesses in the food and restaurants categories with a large concentration of reviews mentioning 'soup,' then ranked those spots using a number of factors, including the total volume and ratings of reviews mentioning 'soup.' This list looked at businesses in the US. All businesses were marked open on Yelp as of December 27, 2023."
