A terrible, heartbreaking story. 3 babies found over the years in the Mississippi River with no leads. Nothing to solve the cases. It's hard to even think about how or why they are there. What suffering they must have experienced. If they can be identified, they should be. However, keep this is mind the next time you willingly send in your DNA for "finding our who you are" or you want to find family members you may not know.
I'm sure we can all agree this is a good use of those DNA data banks, right? If you have DNA stored, where do you draw the line on access to it?
It most likely doesn't matter. Access will very likely be granted to any agency that wants it at some point. Maybe now.
