I get it. Think of it this way: If your boss says "hey learn all this stuff, and we'll send you to wherever so you can go to the conference". So... I just learn this stuff and get to go some where warm, or pretty, or fun and I only have to show up at the conference for a bit and show them what I learned?? uh... Yeah! I'm in!!
