CROSS-COUNTRY TEAM TAKES LONELY SHELTER DOGS ON THEIR MORNING RUNS

St. Joseph Athletics cross country running team went to the dogs, literally. The California school kids took dogs from their local animal shelter on a morning jog recently and everyone had a blast! The dogs from Santa Barbara County Animal Shelter were paired up with a teen and had a short run.

“I am not sure who was more excited and having the most fun… the dogs or the kids,” team coach Luis Escobar wrote on his Facebook page. Although a small dog named Fred wasn’t so keen on all the exercise, all the other dogs were very enthusiastic!
