A Golden Retriever is living her golden years.
A couple in Tennessee adopted Augie when she was 14 years-old. That was six-years ago. In April, Augie celebrated her 20th birthday and according to the GoldHeart Golden Retrievers Rescue, that makes her the oldest Golden Retriever in history.
The elderly dog had two homes before Jennifer and Steve Hetterscheidt adopted her.
Her owners say Augie still enjoys playing with the other family canines and kitties and going for walks regardless of her age.
